Our Statement of Faith
A Good Samaritan is built upon a firm Christian foundation, dedicated to serving our community through grace and love. We believe that our faith is best expressed through concrete acts of service, following the example of Christ in caring for the vulnerable and reflecting His light in all that we do.
Core Beliefs
God the Father
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is the creator of all things and serves as the ultimate source of grace and love.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and died as a sacrifice for our sins.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ and to live within every Christian with power for holy living.
Divine Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, serving as the final authority on all matters of faith and practice for the community of believers.
Salvation by Grace
Salvation is a gift from God. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by our own works or deeds, but through His sacrifice on the cross.
The Church Body
We believe the Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Spirit to serve others and spread the message of God’s love to all corners of the world.
